With the writers' strike leaving many celebrities in work limbo, it's only naturally for them to gravitate toward fashion's biggest event - New York Fashion Week.

The Week kicked off with the environmentally conscious line FutureFashion which featured top designers creating ready-to-wear made from earth-friendly material such as hemp, soy, bamboo and old cashmere. Michael Kors, Donatella Versace and Francisco Costa of Calvin Klein among other added their touch to the eco-friendly runway.

As well, Laura Bush's Red Dress collection was back for the fifth time at New York Fashion Week to promote women's fight against heart disease. With the likes of Joss Stone, Heidi Klum, Molly Sims, Ashanti, Juno's Allison Janney, The Office's Jenna Fischer and Lisa Rinna, to name a few, dancing down the runway in their red dresses, the show had the audience on their feet.
