Donatella Versace dedicates her Spring/Summer collection

Sen. Barack Obama has been quoted by ABC News in describing himself as a "down-to-earth guy". Not a common phrase from someone who has inspired a Versace collection. Donatella Versace seems to know runway quality when she sees when she announced that her spring/summer 2008 collection was dedicated to the Democratic presidential nominee.

This hardly helps Obama as he had to defend himself against charges of elitism back in April, reports ABC News.

The collection is filled with tailored suits and scarves fitting for, as Versace describes Obama, "the man of the moment". She went on about the candidate calling him "a relaxed man who doesn't need to flex muscles to show he has power."
