Whether it's on the soccer field or in the latest Armani men's underwear ad, David Beckham's life is always going to be a treat to the audience. Now, CONTACTMUSIC.com is reporting talks are in the works to produce a musical based on the soccer player's life possibly titled David Beckham - The Theatre of Dreams.

"Beckham's story is a modern-day fairytale of heroes, villains, love, and what it means to lead your country," Mark Archer, the man hoping to make it all happen, explains to CONTACTMUSIC.COM. "His rise from obscurity to international stardom, his universally acknowledged gifts as a supreme sportsman, and his Hollywood lifestyle all have the elements of an aspirational fable."

The production is said to also chart Beckham's early life and soccer career as well as his high-profile marriage to former Spice Girl and dVb designer Victoria Adams; provided the Beckhams give it the go-ahead.
