Almost following in the stylish footsteps of a once ill-tempered Naomi Campbell, former model Karen Mulder was arrested for allegedly threatening her plastic surgeon over the phone.

Telegraph.co.uk reports that the 39-year old Dutch model is currently being held by Paris police for placing vicious calls a detective told reporters that Mulder was "was screaming and shouting about the operation and became extremely threatening... there were repeated calls to the female surgeon who was extremely scared. The suspect is being interviewed."

Another police source in Paris told Telegraph that Mudler was arrested at 10am on Tuesday following a complaint from the unnamed surgeon.

The source continued to say Mulder faces a charge of threatening behaviour, but is likely to be released.
