New York, NY - Nations from all over the world are joining a new global initiative established by the first ever World Fashion Association® (WFA). WFA is a non-for-profit global organization that encourages the expansion of world fashion, promoting international fashion business relationships and understanding on the principal of fair and free trade among business enterprises, cultures and nations.
WFA has been founded in association with the International Export Import Organization (EXIM), which is also known as International Trade Organization (ITO) as the world's largest international trade network of over 1,000,000 affiliated companies along with participating World Trade Associations (WTAs), EXIMs, World Trade Bank, International Trade Associations, International Trade Centers, World Trade Centers, World Trade Boards, International Trade Councils and many other trade related entities around the world. WFA's mission is to further establish a platform where global fashion and textile join forces with international trade to enhance stability, peace, world trade and development, leading to economic growth. "This initiative will positively influence the global fashion and textile industries, and lay the groundwork for a major overhaul, engendering a shift in consciousness to a more unified socially responsible global community", says Dr. David Lee, Group President of the International Export Import Organization. WFA promotes mutual assistance and cooperation in the world of fashion among its different members or partners, by creating national, regional and local authorities throughout the world, acting as a critical mass for industry, covering the international fashion market, helping their members to create joint ventures or strategic alliances for the international business of fashion, through the use of its global network. |
