According to WWD, model turned designer Erin Wasson's reign at the helm of RVCA will come to an end once her three-year is up in December.

Rumours circulated the Internet that Wasson's departure was due to the last collection's bad reviews but both she and RVCA founder and creative director Pat M. Tenore deny that there was any animosity with Tenore stating, "RVCA and Erin have not parted ways indefinitely. Erin is part of the RVCA family, and we hope to work with her on new collaborations in the near future."
