I won't lie. The day after Halloween I like to take it easy and avoid anything wig-like or corsetty. But then there was Fashion sCares - the annual event that raises money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS. And in the spirit of the Halloween season, the costume gala was inspired by the King of Suspense Thrillers, Alfred Hitchcock!
Though you weren't obligated to dress Hitchcockian, his classic films provided an excellent backdrop and mood for the festivities including a chance to re-enact the infamous shower scene from Psycho.
I apologize I do not have any photos of the show since I was mainly backstage (looks like you'll just have to tune into the Fashion sCares special airing Monday, December 1 at 6ET on CTV and FTC). The show had three runway presentations: Rear Window, Psycho and The Birds. The dresses were amazing! Interspursed between the runway shows were performances by Katie Perry, Kreesha Turner and the amazing Shirley Bassey who blew us all away with "Goldfinger", "Light My Fire" and the show-stopping "Big Spender" which garnered an encore. Now... on with the photos! Eye-Catching Costumes:
