As the economic downturn has taken some of our dollars and cents; it may have actually given us some sense when it comes to designer jeans. The price tag of 350.00 and 400.00 for jeans seems laughable when job stability is in question.
2009 has taught us to go back to basics; which is exactly what Levi's is doing. With a new ad campaign shot by Ryan McGinley (the famed photographer known for his nude summer photos) takes his loved aesthetic of boys and girls in their clean and simple form and throws then into a pair of Levi's. It reminds us that bells and whistles are over rated; and yes those designer studs, rhinestones and flashing logos do make your ass look big. Explore art meets fashion at levi.com/goforth and watch the short film America by McGinley.
