It's no surprise that Madonna still manages to garner attention for her unconventional fashion after over 25 years of being in the business. She's known for artistically expressing herself through the clothes she wears. It's her creative way of wearing something that has other female celebrities idolizing her.

Yesterday she attended a screening of Avatar with boyfriend Jesus Luz concealing her face almost fully beneath a black crocheted scarf. It leaves us speculating whether she did it to ward off the bitter wintry cold or was attempting to make some sort of fashion statement. Considering her previous ensembles, and the holes in her scarf, the latter seems quite fitting. Recently photographs of her in London wearing a black bandana splattered with cut-out holes surfaced. It kind of takes us back to when Madonna's career was just taking off. Her getups were worn-in and cut-up, yet they still somehow looked quite remarkable.

Let's see how long it'll take for this trend to settle and be emulated by others (fans and celebrities alike) - an action common with Madonna's style choices.
