Last Hour of the Last Day of Work

Ahh... my final night of Fashion Week. Not because it's the last night of Fashion Week or that I'm quitting my job to pursue my own design label amply titled "Bloggin' at Midnight", but merely because I said I'm not going to any more shows (truth be told - I plan to get shit-faced at a friend's stag and doe tomorrow night). Taking it easy tonight, I feared I wouldn't have anything to share with you fine people...

That is, until I looked up:

Terrible shot, I know, but THAT my friends is a little something they like to call the V.I.P. lounge. Carpeted staircase barred off with the forbidden velvet rope. They have free wine, a plethora of food and the elite and higher-ups schmoozing with one another:

Down with the "normies" and common folk, we have 2400 calories and $6.00 drinks. Does that seem right to you?

I did bump into Stephanie again and told her that I gave her props in one of my blogs - which reminds me... another volunteer there did Melonie's make-up. Her name is Rachelle. She interns at FLARE... Hire her!

On with my bitter resentment toward the V.I.P. Lounge. So I later found out my boss finagled his way up to the V-Lounge (Yup, I just gave it a new name. Deal.) which made me glare like a disgruntled cat eyeing that unattainable bird in the cage because Granny and the bulldog are oddly protective of it (you got the reference). Luckily, he did grant us the privilege of two drink tickets which we gladly took advantage of.

We retreated back to the now foodless and less exciting Media Lounge to sip our wines and reflect on the last 3 days. It seems I managed to grow some flowing locks since yesterday.

Uhhh... not so much.

A hectic and busy last few days but I gotta admit... kinda fun. I mean I got to hang with my one of best friends

As well as Betty Ann, Penelope and Lola, who, of the three, was being a bit of a bitch:
