Partnered with FashionTelevision, TIFF's Fall exhibition provides an exclusive look at the influential films and wardrobe and incredible memorabilia of one of the world's most beloved stars. Running from November 4, 2011 to January 22, 2012 at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Grace Kelly: From Movie Star to Princess features rarely-displayed items and artifacts ranging from Kelly's days as one of Hollywood's most popular actresses to a princess of one of Europe's oldest royal families. Based on the Grimaldi Forum's The Grace Kelly Years exhibition in Monaco and the Victoria and Albert Museum's Grace Kelly: Style Icon exhibition in London, TIFF Bell Lightbox is the only venue in North America to host elements from these landmark shows and to complement the exhibition with dedicated film programmes.

Launching in conjunction with the exhibition on November 4, Icy Fire: The Hitchcock Blonde is a fascinating exploration of the great director's obsession with the cool, regal blonde goddesses that Kelly played for him in three famous films, and December brings a month-long Grace on Screen programme, which surveys Kelly's brief but spectacularly successful screen career from her first small appearances to her most famous starring roles.

Consumers will also have the chance to win a trip one of the world's most fashionable cities through the "Grace Kelly Style Contest." Launching in conjunction with the exhibition on November 4 and running until December 2, the contest invites consumers and members of the local fashion community to submit photos of an original contemporary "Grace Kelly-inspired" look - channelling the timelessness of her style into an outfit they feel would reflect her classic look today. The winner will be chosen by judges Noah Cowan, Artistic Director, TIFF Bell Lightbox and curator of the exhibition, and one of the most influential women in the fashion industry both here in Canada and around the world, host of CTV's FashionTelevision, Jeanne Beker. The chosen stylist wins an all-expenses paid trip for two to New York City to attend the Michael Kors fashion show during Fall/Winter New York Fashion Week in February 2012 and a $1000 shopping experience at any Canadian Michael Kors Lifestyle store. Outfits submitted will be showcased on the TIFF Facebook page and the winning stylist's look will also appear in the Toronto Star and on FashionTelevision.
