At Opera Garnier for Stella's show. Salma Hyak, Liv Tyler, Beth Ditto, and Sir Paul are front row...

Selma loves Stella because she's feminine but not obvious, and maintains a lovely sense of naivite..

Tailored jacket teamed with a flowing citrus print skirt at Stella...

Tailoring on parade at Stella...

Backstage with Stella and Liv Tyler...

Biggest thrill for me was introducing Paul [McCartney] to my daughter Joey. It's her 21st birthday!! Paul actually sang a few bars of Happy Birthday to her. And at the Opera house no less! My HERO!!

At Parc Andre Citroen for Giles Deacon's Ungaro debut. Exuberant colours and optimism! Giles Deacon and his gorgeous Ungaro gals...

Giles says he realizes the past has been sketchy at Ungaro, but is embracing chance to move on. On the Ungaro "set" with a flowered BUG!

At Fidelite, cool Paris club, with Irina Lazareanu. She's performing with Sean Lennon 2nite! Irina rehearsing Proud Mary!!

Sean Lennon on drums! His Twist + Shout was amazing!

Karl's outdone himself for Chanel with this black and white version of Versailles here in the Grand Palais!

Classic Chanel sizzles with hotpants!

Relaxed modernity at Roland Mouret...

Elegance galore with great day looks in cream, aqua, purple, chartreuse, ansd khaki.....

Pants are cropped, teamed with relaxed short-sleeve jackets. Hand-painted silk adds poetry...

His cuts are sublime! One black silk cropped-pant jumpsuit with a strappy back is SEXY cool!

Just talked to Sting, backstage with Trudy.. Tells me he looks at the girls more than clothes!

Trudy's a longtime fan. She says Roland cuts perfectly for her body...

Told Trudy I was a longtime fan of her hubby'sn whom I referred to as the "old man". Sting winced!

Roland says the most challenging and exciting thing about his job is re-imagining...

He keeps his signature strong, yet forces himself to think outside the box. Result? New volume!

Kate Moss arrives at the Tuiileries with a frenzy of paparazzi flashing like mad!

Mob scene for Kate Moss at the Tuileries...

A fight ensues btwn photogs.. This is dangerous stuff! No doubt Dior will be EDGY too!

Dior's programme opens with a Bettie Page quote: I was NEVER the girl next door!

Hints of sailor uniforms mixing with exotic island beauty, in a feminine meets masculine riff...

Runway backdrop features ship masts... South Pacific, here we come. Kate's seated, enfin!

South sea priints in blue and white, short flouncy skirts, hot hibiscus and sparklng green chiffon....

From relaxed little anoraks to cute little halter dresses, just what an island jet-setter needs.

Shoes are hot--colourful, strappy, and stilettoed with espadrille ties around ankles.

Obviously a vibrantly coloured, very commercial collection--miles from what used to be....

And here comes captain Galliano in all his nautical splendour!

Cute as a button sailor gals at Dior..

Actually the set was a decaying Victorian pier, with lots of rented white sand and tons of seashells

Lighting changed, from dawn to dusk, throughout the show to jive with day to night looks...

Galliano's in optimistic mindset. Personally invited me to his own show Sunday--Hallelujah!

My producers had been told we couldn't be accommodated because of the X small venue..

But now, we're in! See--it's def WHO you know in this biz!

Just interviewed Rick Owens in the lobby of Palais de Tokyo. First met him ages ago in LA...

Says it took him a while to feel comfortable showing in Paris. 8 yrs later, he's totally at home.

Owens has always remained true to his vision. Appreciates how artistry is embraced here..

Rick Owens, far right, and his team watching the rehearsal...

Haunting edgy beauty backstage at Rick Owens...

Stunning bone hair combs adorn the stark 'dos at Rick Owens...

Gareth Pugh's in the front row. Says Rick and his wife Michelle have been big supporters of his.

Gareth says needs a kick in the pants! Says audience dresses better than what's on runway.

Girls emerge from the mist in black, white and grey ensembles. Very architectural...

Owens' sense of drama shines. Huge stand-up collars, draped backs, elegant lines....

Oops: Hair combs are falling out, but the girls still manage to emanate regal strength.

Mega wedge shoes add to the modernity. Big ruffles 'round the ankles soften the look...

Lenny Kravitz loved the show and says Owens is simply the best....

Lenny K. on the fly at Rick Owens...

Ah Paris! Hit ground running. Dashing to Zac Posen's first Paris show! Can only imagine his nerves...

It was Yohji Yamamoto who inspired Zac to show here. This is a new beginning for him!

Skinny pants and textures jackets and sexy black mesh and tight ruched skirts... SIRENS!

Zac's influenced by a late "70s vibe....lots of detailing and feathers and lace... Optimism!

Zac's proud papa in vintage Zac capturing every moment...and kvelling!!

Splashes of vibrant colour at Zac...

Yohji Yamamoto tells me he thought Zac should show here because he has natural charisma

Zac cites Lady Gaga, Marisa Berenson, and Diana Vreeland as inspirations.

Me and The Misshapes--who did the music for Zac--post show...
