Fashion from the Hilton sisters--In Hollywood and Montreal with designing socialites Nicky and Paris
Socialite-turned-fashion designer Nicky Hilton debuted her higher-end fashion line "Nicholai" at New York Fashion Week last season and received mixed reviews. This may explain why Hilton decided to show her fall collection on the West Coast, where the stakes aren't quite as high, and the fashion crowd may be more receptive to her designs.

Nicky's not the only Hilton with her hand in the fashion world. Paris debuted her very own clothing line last year and just recently, stopped by Montreal to launch the Paris Hilton footwear collection. But the 27-year old doesn't downplay the role sister Nicky has played in the whole process.

With their big pay cheques and jet-set schedules, it's easy for young models to fall into a dangerous lifestyle of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. Resisting temptation may not be easy, but we recently attended an outreach dinner for a group that is literally praying for a clean life in the fashion world. They're called Models for Christ: a band of models, photographers, stylists and designers who describe themselves as marketplace missionaries-out to bridge the gap between faith and fashion.
